ABOUT ORTOO

Ortoo develops native applications for Salesforce.com, the world’s leading CRM software and enterprise cloud ecosystem. Established in 2010 (when the Salesforce platform was just 11 years old), we soon recognized the potential this powerful CRM had to dramatically enhance employee productivity.  We noticed some gaps in process and functionality within the platform and began creating native Salesforce applications to address those specific challenges. Today, we develop apps whose purpose is to boost the productivity of any given Salesforce organisation through process automation.  To that end we are 100% focused on helping Salesforce users to achieve amazing increases in efficiency and profitability.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to create robust, affordable, highly-scalable and native Salesforce applications, that deliver amazing productivity gains, combined with and an exceptional return-on-investment, and backed by truly outstanding customer service.

We are a company that listens to our customers and we understand you don’t just put your faith in the product you see today, but also in the product that you might need tomorrow. That’s why we strive to ensure our apps are always best-in-class, and to that end they are constantly evolving through a process of continuous improvement.

We also see customer support as a key differentiator and we’re proud of the fact that so many reviews on the AppExchange have praised the outstanding support our service team delivers. These guys are unsung heroes, and we love the fact that our customers truly appreciate them. That attitude will always be part of who we are!

WHAT’S IN A NAME?

We are often asked, “what’s the deal with the name, Ortoo?”. Ortoo was actually an ancient postal relay system which was born out of Mongol army’s need for fast communication in the days of Ghengis Khan.
Covering millions of square miles, relay stations were positioned every 20 to 30 miles. A relay rider would find lodgings, food, drink and well-fed horses at each station. They would either pass on their message to the next rider, or grab a fresh horse, food and drink, and then push on. Using this method, messages traveled quickly across the Mongolian empire.
Today, we see ourselves performing a similar function, albeit in the cloud. Our apps receive or intercept messages, deliver them to Salesforce, and then route them to an appropriate agent for processing – a modern day, automated relay system.
